The time of day chart on the Search tab of LOCALACT provides users with information about when activity usually occurs on their ads. The chart can also give you insight into whether or not your ads are staying up throughout the entirety of your ad schedule.
Ads coming down before the end of an ad schedule typically happens due to insufficient budget.
When you begin to run out of spend, the Google platform will stop running your ads consistently and will begin to show them sporadically.
Running out of spend early on in the day is problematic because it hinders your ability to be seen on Google, and allows more opportunity for your competition to come into the platform and occupy the top results on Search. This is what a Hourly Performance report might look like if you are running out of spend.
In this instance, the budget begins running out around noon and activity decreases throughout the day.
Another indicator of an insufficient budget can be found within the daily performance report. For some clients, their budgets will be so limited that they won't even be able to stay up throughout the entirely of the month. If your campaign is experiencing drop off of clicks and impressions towards the end of the month then you may need to increase your budget to stay up longer.
One or both of these things can be an indicator that you need to increase your budget. If you would like more information about this, please contact support@localact.com and ask one of our support representatives for help.
